Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop-Tart

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup greek yogurt

Filling

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

Topping

  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • dash of maple syrup
  • oil or melted butter

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder, then stir in the yogurt until a dough forms.

  3. In a separate bowl, stir together the filling ingredients.

  4. Roll the dough out onto a lightly floured surface into a thin rectangle, then cut it in half.

  5. Spread the filling on one half, place the other dough half on top, and press the edges together with a fork.

  6. Brush the top with oil or melted butter and bake for 25 minutes.

  7. After baking, top with a mixture of 1 tablespoon powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, and a dash of maple syrup.

Notes

  1. You can use gluten-free 1:1 baking flour for a gluten-free version.
