Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop-Tart
Ingredients
Dough
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup greek yogurt
Filling
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
Topping
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- dash of maple syrup
- oil or melted butter
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350F.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder, then stir in the yogurt until a dough forms.
In a separate bowl, stir together the filling ingredients.
Roll the dough out onto a lightly floured surface into a thin rectangle, then cut it in half.
Spread the filling on one half, place the other dough half on top, and press the edges together with a fork.
Brush the top with oil or melted butter and bake for 25 minutes.
After baking, top with a mixture of 1 tablespoon powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, and a dash of maple syrup.
Notes
You can use gluten-free 1:1 baking flour for a gluten-free version.
