Ingredients
- 100 grams melted chocolate
- 1/2 cup finely ground pistachio
- 2 cups milk
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons butter
Filling
- 6 pieces of finger biscuits
Decoration
- Whipped cream
Preparation
Prepare 4 transparent glasses for serving and dip the rim in melted chocolate then in pistachio for decoration.
In a medium-sized thick-bottomed pot, place the milk and heat it on medium heat until well heated.
In a deep bowl or large measuring cup, place egg yolks, sugar, vanilla, and cornstarch and mix with a whisk until homogeneous.
Pour the hot milk over the egg yolk mixture and stir, then return the mixture to the pot and heat on medium heat.
Stir with a wide plastic spoon until the mixture boils and thickens, continuing until a smooth custard forms.
Add the melted chocolate and butter and stir until fully combined.
Distribute the chocolate custard into the glasses, place a piece of biscuit on top of each, and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
For serving, garnish with whipped cream and serve immediately.
