Classic Brazilian Condensed Milk Pudding
Ingredients
Pudding
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can (14 oz) milk (use the condensed milk can to measure)
- 3 whole eggs
Caramel sauce
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
Preparation
Beat the eggs well in a blender
Add the sweetened condensed milk and milk, and blend again
Melt the sugar in a saucepan until it turns brown, then add the water and let it thicken
Pour the caramel sauce into a round mold, then pour the pudding batter on top
Bake in a medium oven for 45 minutes in a water bath (place the round baking dish inside a larger one filled with hot water)
Insert a fork to check if the pudding is fully baked
Let cool and then unmold
