Classic Carrot Cake with Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 medium carrots, grated
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Frosting

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk

Preparation

  1. Add grated carrots, eggs, and oil to a blender and mix

  2. Add sugar and blend for 5 minutes

  3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add the flour, then mix

  4. Add the baking powder and mix slowly with a spoon

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for approximately 40 minutes

Frosting

  1. Pour butter, cocoa powder, sugar, and milk into a bowl and mix

  2. Cook the mixture, stirring constantly, until it reaches a creamy consistency

  3. Pour the frosting over the cake
