Five Ingredient Protein Vegan Scones
Ingredients
- 160g Flour of Choice
- 40g Protein Powder
- 185ml Plant Based Milk
- 1 tbs Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tbs chilled Coconut Oil
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
Preparation
Preheat oven to 180°c
In a bowl mix your dry ingredients together
In a separate bowl mix your milk with apple cider and leave to sit for around 10 minutes to create a buttermilk
Once your milk has slightly thickened and curdled, fold gradually into your dry ingredients and stir gently until a dough forms
Mould into scope shapes and put on a baking tray, put in the oven and bake for around 30 minutes or until cooked through
