Five Ingredient Protein Vegan Scones

Ingredients

  • 160g Flour of Choice
  • 40g Protein Powder
  • 185ml Plant Based Milk
  • 1 tbs Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tbs chilled Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°c

  2. In a bowl mix your dry ingredients together

  3. In a separate bowl mix your milk with apple cider and leave to sit for around 10 minutes to create a buttermilk

  4. Once your milk has slightly thickened and curdled, fold gradually into your dry ingredients and stir gently until a dough forms

  5. Mould into scope shapes and put on a baking tray, put in the oven and bake for around 30 minutes or until cooked through
