High Protein Vegan Banana Chocolate Oat Bars

Ingredients

  • ~280g mashed, ripe banana
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (optional)
  • 40g sugar/xylitol/sweetener of your choice
  • 50g cacao powder
  • 180ml plant milk
  • 50g nut butter
  • 150g oats
  • 30g protein powder, e.g. the 3k chocolate brownie from @nutritionplus.de (optional)
  • 1/3 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1 sliced banana & (sugar-free) chocolate for on top

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients well and spread the dough into an oiled or baking paper-prepared baking form.

  2. Press some chocolate pieces into the dough and decorate with banana slices.

  3. Bake at 180°C or 350°F with upper and lower heat, preheated, for about 30 minutes.

  4. If protein powder is omitted, use more oats.
