Gluten-Free Brownies with Almond Butter Balls

Ingredients

  • 50 g cacao
  • 30 g nut butter or chocolate nut butter
  • one pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 100 g apple sauce
  • 100 g coconut sugar
  • 170 g gluten free flour mix
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 tsp baking soda
  • 250 ml plant milk
  • 25 g dark chocolate, chopped
  • a few bliss or nut balls
  • Optional: dark chocolate or chocolate cream for topping

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C or 350°F with upper and lower heat.

  2. Mix nut butter, apple sauce, apple cider vinegar, sugar and plant milk. Add the rest of the ingredients. Spread the first half of the batter in a brownie form. Press the bliss balls and chocolate chunks into the form and top with the other half of the brownie batter.

  3. Bake for about 25-30 minutes depending on your oven. Let it cool down a little, top with melted chocolate or chocolate cream, cut into brownies and enjoy!
