Baked Chocolate Donuts Vegan and Healthy

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 70g apple sauce
  • 140ml plant milk
  • 1 tbsp soy-flour (egg replacement)
  • 20g nut butter (almond butter used)
  • 20g coconut sugar/xylit etc. (use more if sweeter or use vanilla flavoredrops)
  • 100g spelt flour (type 630 or wheat/rice/buckwheat flour)
  • 20g cacao
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F)

  2. Mix all ingredients well, pour the dough in a donut baking form (use a silicone one and prepare with some oil first)

  3. Bake the donuts for approximately 30 minutes (depending on your oven)

  4. Let them cool down a little before taking them out of the form

  5. Glaze the donuts and decorate with toppings of your choice (e.g., mix chocolate spreads with a little water)
