Healthy Vegan Donuts
Ingredients
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 70g apple sauce
- peel of 1 lemon
- 130ml plant milk
- 1 tbsp soy-flour (= egg replacement)
- 20g nut butter ( I used sunflower seed butter)
- 20g coconut sugar (use more if you like them to be sweeter or use vanilla flavedrops)
- 100g rice flour ( or normal wheat/spelt flour)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F)
Mix all ingredients well, pour the dough in a donut baking form ( I used a silicone one)
You should prepare the form with some oil first!
Bake the donuts for ~30 min ( depending on your oven)
Let them cool down a little before you take them out of the form
Glase the donuts and decorate them with toppings of your choice
For the frosting I mixed vegan cream cheese, a 1tsp caramel spread and a splash of water
