Ginger Oatmeal with Fresh Fruits and Toppings
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp ground flax seed
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 banana, sliced or mashed
Preparation
Quick oats can be used or pulse rolled oats for faster cooking.
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
Bring to a simmer.
Stir as it thickens, about 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and serve.
Enjoy with fruit as desired, such as blueberries, persimmon, banana, cocoa nibs, and peanut butter.
