Green Lemon Gelatin Yogurt Cake
Ingredients
- 4 eggs (about 240g)
- 170g natural yogurt
- 1 1/2 cups (240g) granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup (150ml) vegetable oil
- 1 (35g) packet lemon-flavored gelatin powder
- 2 1/4 cups (247.5g) all-purpose flour
- 1 level tablespoon (10g) baking powder
- Butter, for greasing the pan
Frosting
- 1 (395g) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup (100ml) fresh lemon juice
Preparation
In a mixer, beat the eggs with the yogurt, sugar, and oil
Gradually add the gelatin powder, flour, and baking powder, beating constantly until homogeneous
Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake in a preheated oven until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
Let the cake cool to room temperature
Beat the sweetened condensed milk with the lemon juice until homogeneous
Spread the frosting over the cooled cake
Let the cake cool for 2 hours, then cut into pieces, decorate as desired, and serve cold
Tips
If desired, replace the lemon gelatin with your preferred flavor, such as passion fruit, pineapple, or mixed berries for incredible cakes
