Malaysian Semperit Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 block butter
- 1 cup milk powder
- 400g all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- A little vanilla essence
Preparation
Mix the butter and milk powder together until well combined using a spatula or whisk; no mixer is needed.
Gradually add the flour, cornstarch, and vanilla essence, then knead until the dough is soft and not sticky to the hands.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Shape the dough as desired.
Let the shaped cookies rest for 20 minutes before baking.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until done.
