Rice Pudding with Cardamom and Saffron

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1/2 cup rose water
  • 2 tablespoons ground rice (rice flour)
  • 4 tablespoons of date sugar or any other sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • a few strands of saffron

Preparation

  1. Mix the milk, sugar, rice and cardamom, then heat them over a high heat until thickened

  2. Add the vanilla, saffron and rose water, then turn off the heat

  3. Pour the pudding into molds, let it cool, then let it thicken in the fridge for two hours

  4. Serve the pudding and enjoy
