Huge Jar of Dark Chocolate Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • half cup porridge oats
  • 3 medjool dates, chopped
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 30g dark chocolate, chopped
  • dash of cinnamon
  • dash of vanilla
  • optionally) 1 tsp maca powder

Preparation

  1. In a small pan cover your oats and dates with hot water and leave for 15 minutes (or longer) until all the liquid is absorbed

  2. Add the milk, turn the heat on and bring to the boil, stirring

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and let simmer on a low heat until the chocolate is melted and the oatmeal reaches your favourite consistency

  4. Don't forget to stir frequently
