Steel Cut Oats Breakfast with Fresh Toppings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Steel Cut oats
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • soy milk
  • banana
  • cinnamon
  • strawberries
  • pumpkin seeds
  • almond butter
  • nibs

Preparation

  1. Combine 2 cups steel cut oats, 6 cups water, 2 cinnamon sticks, and 1/2 tsp salt in an Instant Pot.

  2. Cook on manual for 6 minutes with the seal on, followed by natural release.

  3. Reheat the oats by adding a splash of soy milk and sliced banana.

  4. Add extra cinnamon and top with strawberries, pumpkin seeds, almond butter, and nibs for additional nutrients.
