Sweet Cinnamon French Toast
Ingredients
- 4-5 slices seeded sourdough bread
- 80g chickpea flour
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp ground chia or flax seeds
- 200ml plant milk
- 100ml aquafaba
- 1 medium banana
- 1/2 tsp black salt
Preparation
Blend everything together in your food processor or blender then let batter rest for a few minutes to soak up the liquid.
Using a clean plate pour some of the batter into the plate then pop a slice of bread on top, pour more batter over the top and allow a couple of minutes for the batter to soak into the bread.
Using a lightly oiled nonstick pan on a medium heat place the bread in the oil and cook for 3-4 minutes, turn over and repeat.
