Baked Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 200g oats
- 3 apples
- Approximately 250ml warm liquid (water or plant-based milk)
- 100-150ml vanilla yoghurt
- Cinnamon
- 1-3 tablespoons peanut butter
- 2-3 tablespoons stevia, syrup, or dates
- Margarine or oil
- Vanilla powder
- Cardamom
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds (optional)
- Coconut oil or margarine (optional)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 180°C
Chop the apples into pieces and fry in margarine with cinnamon and vanilla powder
Mix together oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, a pinch of salt, stevia, peanut butter, and yoghurt in a baking bowl and add three-quarters of the fried apples
Mix until combined
Place the mixture in a baking tray or individual jars
Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 180°C and once baked, top with extra apples and vanilla yoghurt
