Easy Layered Mango Custard Pudding
Ingredients
- 1/2 liter milk
- 2 tablespoons condensed milk (adjust for sweetness)
- 1 tablespoon custard powder
- 1/4 cup milk (for diluting custard powder)
- 1/2 cup mango puree
Assembly
- Fresh mangoes (diced)
- Biscuits (crushed)
- Jelly (optional, prepared per packet instructions)
- Whipped cream or sweet fresh cream (optional)
- Finely chopped pistachios
Preparation
Boil 1/2 liter of milk and mix in 2 tablespoons of condensed milk
Stir in 1 tablespoon of custard powder diluted in 1/4 cup of room-temperature milk until it thickens
Once cooled, stir in 1/2 cup of fresh mango puree and refrigerate for a few hours
Dice some juicy mangoes and crush your favorite biscuits
In a serving glass, set the jelly according to packet instructions if using
Spread the crushed biscuit mixture over the jelly layer
Add the chilled custard on top of the biscuit layer
Layer fresh diced mangoes over the custard
Top with whipped cream or sweet fresh cream if desired
Finish with additional fresh mango pieces and finely chopped pistachios for a gourmet touch
Tips
Adjust the amount of condensed milk to control sweetness
The jelly and whipped cream layers are optional and can be skipped
