Tahini and Date Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1/3-1/2 cup rolled or quick oats
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp tahini (I used @soomfoods Tahini because it’s delicious)
- 1-2 medjool dates, diced
- Pinch of salt
- 1 banana, sliced up
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and stir while bringing the mixture to a simmer.
Allow oats to thicken while stirring for about 3 minutes.
Remove from the stovetop.
Top as desired, for example with mango, gooseberries, blueberries, and pepitas for extra flavor.
