Tahini and Date Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/3-1/2 cup rolled or quick oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp tahini (I used @soomfoods Tahini because it’s delicious)
  • 1-2 medjool dates, diced
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 banana, sliced up
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and stir while bringing the mixture to a simmer.

  2. Allow oats to thicken while stirring for about 3 minutes.

  3. Remove from the stovetop.

  4. Top as desired, for example with mango, gooseberries, blueberries, and pepitas for extra flavor.
