Simple Homemade Strawberry Marmalade
Ingredients
- 300g strawberries
- 200g sugar
- 12g pectin
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preparation
Prepare the mold in advance by lining it with parchment paper or foil.
Blend the strawberries into a puree.
Mix 50 grams of sugar with the pectin.
Mix the remaining sugar with the strawberry puree and cook the mixture on low heat.
When the mixture boils, gradually add the sugar-pectin mixture while stirring to ensure even distribution.
Cook until the temperature reaches 107 degrees Celsius.
Add the lemon juice, stir quickly, and pour the mixture into the mold.
Allow it to set, then cut into pieces and coat in sugar.
Notes
If using frozen strawberries, use the weight after thawing.
The recipe may be too sweet; consider reducing the sugar amount in future attempts.
