Vegan Fig Maple and Nuts Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 100ml cashew milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • figs
  • peaches
  • nuts
  • peanut butter
  • maple syrup (optional)

Preparation

  1. Soak 1/3 cup of oats in 100ml cashew milk for 15 minutes.

  2. Add 1 cup water, 2 crushed cardamom pods and cook on medium heat, stirring often.

  3. Remove the pods and stir in 1 tsp vanilla extract.

  4. Top with figs, peaches, nuts, a spoon of peanut butter, and maple if desired. Enjoy!
