Chocolate Peanut Butter Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup/120 ml oats
  • 1 cup/240 ml plant milk (for example almond, oat or soy)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or agave
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

Optional toppings

  • sliced banana
  • sliced strawberries
  • cacao nibs
  • shredded coconut
  • slivered almonds

Preparation

  1. Stir all ingredients together with a whisk.

  2. Cover the bowl and let it sit on the kitchen counter overnight or refrigerate if in a warm climate.

  3. In the morning, top with fruits, berries, or toppings of choice and enjoy.

Tips

  1. Using raw cacao provides a more chocolatey flavor and higher antioxidants compared to roasted cocoa.
