Cinnamon Sugar Stovetop Oats
Ingredients
- 1 cup oats
- 1 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp coconut sugar
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1/2 banana
- 1/4 cup plain kefir
- peanut butter
- pecans
Preparation
Heat 1 cup of oats with 1 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk until bubbling.
Add 2 tsp cinnamon and 2 tsp coconut sugar, mix together, and cook for 8 minutes over low medium heat.
In a pan, heat 1 tsp coconut oil over medium heat.
Add 1/2 banana cut into coins and sprinkled with cinnamon, cook for 30 seconds on each side.
Add-ins
Add 1/4 cup plain kefir to the bowl after cooking oats to preserve probiotic benefits.
Top with peanut butter and pecans.
