Instant Porridge for a Healthy Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 50 g fine oat flakes
  • 1 teaspoon flaxseeds
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup
  • 1 tablespoon raisins
  • pinch cinnamon

Serving additions

  • 200-250 ml boiling water depending on the desired consistency
  • Sweeteners and fruit of your choice
  • Nuts or seeds
  • 1 tablespoon milk if desired

Preparation

  1. Put all porridge ingredients in a jar, using a normal 400ml empty jam or peanut butter jar so you can close it and take it to work.

  2. Boil water, pour hot water over your instant porridge, stir and let stand for 5-8 minutes, stir again and add a little milk if necessary.

  3. Then decorate with fruit, sweeteners and nuts and enjoy.
