Vanilla Matcha Oats

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (60g) rolled oats
  • -1-1/2 cup (360mL) water/plant-based milk
  • -1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • -1/2 tsp lemon zest + 1 tsp lemon juice
  • -1 tsp matcha powder
  • -1 tbsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Combine the oats and liquid in a pot, then bring to a boil

  2. Let simmer on low heat for 6-7 minutes, until thickened

  3. Turn off the heat, then mix in all the remaining ingredients and a pinch of sea salt

  4. Serve warm
