Vanilla Matcha Oats
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup (60g) rolled oats
- -1-1/2 cup (360mL) water/plant-based milk
- -1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- -1/2 tsp lemon zest + 1 tsp lemon juice
- -1 tsp matcha powder
- -1 tbsp maple syrup
Preparation
Combine the oats and liquid in a pot, then bring to a boil
Let simmer on low heat for 6-7 minutes, until thickened
Turn off the heat, then mix in all the remaining ingredients and a pinch of sea salt
Serve warm
