Caramelized Banana Pancakes
Ingredients
Pancake batter
- 1 cup @bobsredmill flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp @nutiva sugar
- 1 tbsp California Gold Nutrition coconut oil
- 1 tsp @simplyorganicfoods vanilla
- 1 cup dairy free milk
Caramelized bananas
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp California Gold Nutrition coconut oil
- 1 tbsp @nowfoodsofficial agave
- 1/4 tsp @frontiercoop cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp @simplyorganicfoods vanilla
Preparation
Combine all of the pancake ingredients in a large bowl and mix them well.
Take about a 1/4 cup scoop of batter and add it to a pan.
Cook for 3-4 minutes and then flip and cook the same on the other side.
Repeat this with each pancake. This recipe makes about 6 pancakes.
Banana caramelization
To a pan, add the coconut oil, agave, cinnamon, and vanilla.
Combine them well and then add the banana slices.
Cut the banana into thicker slices so that they do not fall apart.
Leave plenty of space between the slices to prevent sticking.
Cook the bananas for about 2-3 minutes, or until they are as caramelized as desired.
Flip and cook on the other side.
Top the pancakes with the caramelized banana slices and enjoy.
