Turkish Spoon-Drop Pancakes
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup yogurt
- Vegetable oil, slightly less than a tea glass
- 1 teaspoon salt (not heaping)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 70 grams white cheese
- 1 small red bell pepper
- A handful of parsley
- 1.5 cups flour
Preparation
In a mixing bowl, add the liquid ingredients and mix, then add the salt.
Add the finely chopped red bell pepper and parsley, and mix.
Add the crushed white cheese and mix well.
Add the flour and baking powder, and mix thoroughly.
Place a Teflon pan on the stove, grease it with a brush, and heat it.
From the prepared mixture, add by spoonfuls and spread lightly.
Cook on both sides over low heat.
Place the cooked pancakes on a serving plate lined with paper towels, spaced apart.
Continue until all the mixture is used.
Serve after cooling.
Notes
Cook on low heat to ensure the inside is cooked without burning the outside.
