Vegan Banana Oat Pancakes with Flax Seeds
Ingredients
- 1 big or 2 small bananas
- 200g oats or as desired
- 2 tablespoons flax seeds
- cacao powder to taste
- 200ml plant milk
- water as needed for consistency
Preparation
Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Heat a non-stick pan to medium heat and pour the batter into pancake shapes.
Use two pans to make them faster and avoid overheating.
Cook until one side is solid, then flip and stack the pancakes.
Secret sauce
Take the blender with remaining batter, add dates and cacao powder, then blend until smooth.
Pour the sauce over the pancake stack.
Optionally, add sliced banana and frozen berries on top and let them melt.
For sweeter pancakes without toppings, add dates to the original batter.
