Cucumber Salad with Sesame and Vinegar
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame
- 3 cups thinly sliced peeled cucumber
- 1/3 cup thinly sliced onion
Preparation
In a deep bowl, place the vinegar, sugar, and salt. Using a hand whisk, stir until the sugar dissolves.
Add the sesame, cucumber, and onion. Using a wooden spoon, stir to coat completely with the vinegar.
Cover the salad bowl with plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight, then serve.
