Cucumber Salad with Sesame and Vinegar

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame
  • 3 cups thinly sliced peeled cucumber
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced onion

Preparation

  1. In a deep bowl, place the vinegar, sugar, and salt. Using a hand whisk, stir until the sugar dissolves.

  2. Add the sesame, cucumber, and onion. Using a wooden spoon, stir to coat completely with the vinegar.

  3. Cover the salad bowl with plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight, then serve.
