  • 200 grams ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon mixed spices
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3-4 tablespoons melted butter

Preparation

  1. In a medium-sized pot, place the meat and butter, then put the pot on medium heat and stir with a wooden spoon until the meat browns and its water evaporates.

  2. Add the onion and stir until softened.

  3. Add the garlic, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, mixed spices, salt, and black pepper, then stir with the meat until the vegetables are softened and let the meat mixture cool.

  4. Adjust the oven rack to the middle position and preheat the oven to 180°C.

  5. Prepare shallow baking trays.

  6. Distribute the meat mixture into the sandwich buns, add cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, close the sandwiches, and press lightly to seal.

  7. Brush the sandwiches with melted butter using a wide brush.

  8. Wrap each sandwich in aluminum foil and place them in the baking tray.

  9. Bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes until toasted, then serve immediately.
