Pan-Fried Tomato and Mushroom Whole Wheat Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • A dash of olive oil
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • A pack of baby mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons of Tamari sauce
  • Some sliced cherry tomatoes
  • Chopped basil or parsley (optional)

Preparation

  1. Cook whole wheat spaghetti according to package instructions

  2. Heat a dash of olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

  3. Add 2 crushed garlic cloves and fry for a few minutes.

  4. Add a pack of baby mushrooms and 2 tablespoons of Tamari sauce, then cook for another 5 minutes.

  5. Add some sliced cherry tomatoes and cook for 5-8 minutes.

  6. Stir in chopped basil or parsley if available.

  7. Combine the sauce with the cooked spaghetti and serve
