Baked Mackerel with Lemon Garlic Marinade
Ingredients
- 2 mackerel
Sauce
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- Juice of half a lemon
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Toppings
- Bay leaves
- Onion slices
Preparation
Wash the fish and let it drain completely.
Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Coat each fish piece in the sauce on both sides.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the fish on it.
Add 5-6 bay leaves and onion slices on top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 250°C until golden brown, about 40 minutes.
