Classic Steamed Clams with Wine Garlic and Herbs
Ingredients

- garlic
- a touch of butter
- loads of fresh herbs
Preparation
Clean the clams by scrubbing and soaking in cold water to remove sand
In a large pot, combine wine, garlic, butter, and fresh herbs; bring to a simmer
Add the clams, cover, and steam until they open, about 5 to 10 minutes
Discard any clams that do not open
Serving
Serve immediately with crusty bread for soaking up the broth
