Homemade Malaysian Shellfish Stir-Fry

Ingredients

  • 2 onions
  • A handful of dried chili
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 spoons meat curry powder
  • Sugar to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Seasoning to taste
  • Crab
  • Squid
  • Clams
  • Shrimp
  • Cauliflower
  • Broccoli
  • Optional: Boiled corn

Preparation

  1. Blend the onions, dried chili, and garlic.

  2. Heat a little oil and add the blended mixture.

  3. Cook until the sambal releases oil, then add 2 spoons of meat curry powder and cook until thick. Add sugar, salt, and seasoning to taste.

  4. Add crab and stir well.

  5. Add squid and stir well.

  6. Wait 5 minutes, then add clams and stir well.

  7. Finally, add shrimp, cauliflower, broccoli, and stir well. Do not add water initially.

  8. Optional: Add boiled corn.

Tips

  1. No need to add water as the shrimp and squid will release their own liquid.
