Tin Fish Salad
Ingredients
- 6 T olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 1/2 T dijon mustard
- salt + pepper to taste
- 2 cans Tuna, in water
- 2 can Sardines, in water + remove bones
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons raisins
- 2 large roasted red peppers, from the jar (or 4 large piquillo peppers, jarred)
- 4 T dill, chopped
- 2 tsp. lemon zest
Preparation
In a small bowl whisk together your olive oil, lemon juice, dijon mustard, & salt + pepper to taste to make you dressing
In a medium bowl, add tuna and deboned sardines and break up into big and small chunks, I prefer a bit bigger
Add raisins, peppers, dill, & lemon zest to tin fish and give it a toss
Pour over your dressing, give it a taste and adjust salt + pepper as needed
Serve with bread of course
