Tin Fish Salad

Ingredients

  • 6 T olive oil ⁣
  • 1 lemon, juiced ⁣
  • 1 1/2 T dijon mustard ⁣
  • salt + pepper to taste ⁣
  • 2 cans Tuna, in water⁣
  • 2 can Sardines, in water + remove bones ⁣
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons raisins ⁣
  • 2 large roasted red peppers, from the jar (or 4 large piquillo peppers, jarred) ⁣
  • 4 T dill, chopped ⁣
  • 2 tsp. lemon zest

Preparation

  1. In a small bowl whisk together your olive oil, lemon juice, dijon mustard, & salt + pepper to taste to make you dressing

  2. In a medium bowl, add tuna and deboned sardines and break up into big and small chunks, I prefer a bit bigger

  3. Add raisins, peppers, dill, & lemon zest to tin fish and give it a toss

  4. Pour over your dressing, give it a taste and adjust salt + pepper as needed

  5. Serve with bread of course
