Easy Fried Tuna Patties with Fresh Salad
Ingredients
- 2 cans drained tuna
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1 tablespoon dried spices
- 3 tablespoons red onion
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons hot sauce
- Salt and pepper
Accompaniments
- Kale
- Tomato
- Cucumber
- Lemon
- Oil dressing
- Feta cheese
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Form the mixture into 8 patties.
Place the patties in the freezer for 20-30 minutes to help them hold together during frying.
Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
Add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Optionally, serve with a salad made from massaged kale, tomato, cucumber, lemon and oil dressing, sprinkled with feta cheese.
