Chickpea Savory Pancake
Ingredients
- Chickpea flour - 1 cup or Besan Gram flour
- Salt - according to your taste
- Corriander leaves chopped - 1/4 cup
- Red onion - Finely chopped medium size
- Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
- Green chillies - optional
- Oil - any from your pantry
- Water - 1 cup or may be more depending what consistency you prefer
Preparation
In a bowl , combine chickpea flour and half cup of water , wisk it to get a smooth consistency. Makimg sure you leave no lump in the batter
Add salt , onions , coriander, chillies, 1tsp of oil and mix the batter well
Leave the batter aside for atleast 10mintues. ✒Take a non stick pan heat it over a medium flame . Drizzle a few drops of oil and spread it over the pan using a paper towel
Pou the battery and spread by using back of the spoon ✒Drizzle few drops of oil around the edges of the pancake
Cook until the edges start to leave the pan and the bottom is golden brown . Flip and cook until both sides are nicely crispy ✒ Serve it with any chutney, yogurt or stuff it with any roasted vegetables or scrambled tofu
