Cinnamon and Chocolate Palmiers
Ingredients
- 1 packet puff pastry
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts
For decoration
- Ready-made chocolate cream
Preparation
Prepare baking sheets with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 180°C.
On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to a 13x9 inch rectangle.
Brush the pastry with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon, and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts.
Cut the pastry into 1/2 inch wide strips.
Roll each strip into a spiral shape and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack.
Once cooled, decorate with ready-made chocolate cream and serve.
