Simple Homemade Sugar-Free Apple Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 kg apples (about 5 pieces)
- 100 ml water
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Preparation
Peel and roughly chop the apples
Place the apples in a large pot with 100 ml water and the juice of half a lemon
Cook over low heat for 20-30 minutes until the apples are soft
Blend the cooked apples with an immersion blender
Transfer the apple sauce to an airtight container or sterilized jars for storage up to 4-6 months
