Simple Homemade Sugar-Free Apple Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 kg apples (about 5 pieces)
  • 100 ml water
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Preparation

  1. Peel and roughly chop the apples

  2. Place the apples in a large pot with 100 ml water and the juice of half a lemon

  3. Cook over low heat for 20-30 minutes until the apples are soft

  4. Blend the cooked apples with an immersion blender

  5. Transfer the apple sauce to an airtight container or sterilized jars for storage up to 4-6 months
