Simple Cheesy Kale Chips
Ingredients
- 1 large bunch of kale
- 1 tbsp cashew butter
- 1 tsp mild curry powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp nutritional yeast
- Crack of black pepper
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Preparation
Massage the kale with all the ingredients, ensuring the leaves are well coated.
Spread the kale out on a lined tray or two, ensuring it isn't overlapping.
If cooking in an oven, set to 100 degrees Celsius and bake for 15 minutes, then toss and bake for another 5-10 minutes until crispy.
If you have a dehydrator, place on a lined dehydrator tray and set to 46 degrees Celsius for 8 hours.
Store in an airtight container.
Tips
Wear gloves to avoid turmeric stains.
Watch closely as the kale can burn easily.
