Simple Cheesy Kale Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 large bunch of kale
  • 1 tbsp cashew butter
  • 1 tsp mild curry powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp nutritional yeast
  • Crack of black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

Preparation

  1. Massage the kale with all the ingredients, ensuring the leaves are well coated.

  2. Spread the kale out on a lined tray or two, ensuring it isn't overlapping.

  3. If cooking in an oven, set to 100 degrees Celsius and bake for 15 minutes, then toss and bake for another 5-10 minutes until crispy.

  4. If you have a dehydrator, place on a lined dehydrator tray and set to 46 degrees Celsius for 8 hours.

  5. Store in an airtight container.

Tips

  1. Wear gloves to avoid turmeric stains.

  2. Watch closely as the kale can burn easily.
