Chocolate Sauce Cornstarch Cookies
Ingredients
- 125 grams softened butter at room temperature
- 1 tea glass liquid oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 water glass powdered sugar
- Half packet baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla
- 400 grams corn starch
- 1 tea glass flour
Topping
- 50-60 grams bitter chocolate, melted using double boiler method
Preparation
In a mixing bowl, combine butter, liquid oil, eggs, baking powder, vanilla, and powdered sugar and mix well.
Gradually add corn starch and begin kneading.
Gradually add flour and knead until you get a soft dough that does not stick to your hands.
Shape small pieces of dough into balls slightly larger than a marble.
Arrange all shaped dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper; this recipe yields two trays.
Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat for about 15-20 minutes until the cookies remain white.
After the cookies have cooled, drizzle with melted chocolate using the double boiler method and serve.
