Lemon Cookies with Glaze

Ingredients

  • 125g butter, room temperature
  • Slightly less than 1 cup sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla
  • A pinch of baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • Grated lemon zest
  • 2-3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2-2.5 cups flour

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice

Preparation

  1. Beat butter and sugar with a mixer for 1-2 minutes.

  2. Add egg yolks and beat again.

  3. Add the remaining ingredients and mix to form a soft dough.

  4. Shape the dough into walnut-sized balls.

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 275 degrees for 13-15 minutes.

  6. Remove from oven and press lightly with a glass.

  7. Drizzle with the glaze and serve.

Glaze

  1. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and lemon juice until smooth and runny.
