Layered Chocolate Cheesecake Indulgence
Ingredients
- 100g oreo cookies (cream removed)
- 40g butter
- 250g dark chocolate (divided into 125g portions)
- 500g cream cheese (divided into 250g portions)
- 375g whipping cream (divided into 125g portions)
- 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 66g caster sugar (divided into 33g portions)
Preparation
Oreo crust layer
Crush the 100g oreo cookies finely after removing the cream, then mix with 40g melted butter and press into the pan, refrigerate for 30 minutes
Chocolate cheesecake layer
Melt 125g dark chocolate using a double boiler and let it cool slightly
Beat 250g cream cheese for about 1-2 minutes, then add 33g caster sugar, 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, mix until smooth
Add the melted dark chocolate to the cream cheese mixture and stir until combined
Whip 125g whipping cream until stiff peaks form
Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate cream cheese mixture until well combined, then pour over the oreo crust and refrigerate for 30 minutes
Cream cheese layer
Beat 250g cream cheese, add 33g caster sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional), mix until smooth
