Peanut Butter Hemp Crispy Treats
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter (runny organic, plus more for topping)
- 7 tbsp maple syrup (local organic)
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Pinch salt
- 1/4 cup hemp seeds (plus more for topping)
- 4 cups puffed rice
Preparation
Melt peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil in microwave or on stovetop.
Add vanilla and a pinch of salt, then mix well.
In a large bowl, add puffed rice.
Pour the peanut butter mixture over the puffed rice and stir to combine.
Add hemp seeds and stir to coat evenly.
Transfer the mixture to a parchment-lined 8x8 pan and press firmly.
Drizzle more peanut butter, sprinkle more sea salt and hemp seeds on top.
Place in the freezer for 2 hours, then cut into bars and enjoy.
