Garlic Kiev Pasta Bake
Ingredients
- Brown onion
- Olive oil
- Roast tenderstrips
- 2 meat-free chicken flavor stock cubes
- Garlic puree
- Chopped parsley
- Penne pasta
- Water
- 6 extra light cheese triangles
- 10g golden breadcrumbs
- 10g butter spread
Preparation
Dice and fry the brown onion in olive oil until browned.
Pull apart the roast tenderstrips into smaller pieces.
Add the stock cubes, garlic puree, and chopped parsley to the pan.
Add penne pasta and enough water to cover, then simmer until pasta starts to soften.
Stir in the cheese triangles until the mixture thickens into a sauce.
Transfer to an oven-proof dish and top with golden breadcrumbs and melted butter spread.
Bake for 14 minutes at 190°C.
Serving suggestions
Serve with tender stem broccoli.
