Jerk Chicken Vegetarian Lasagne
Ingredients
- lasagne sheets
- roast tenderstrips
- jerk seasoning (a sprinkle)
- 4 tablespoons jerk style sauce
- a little water
- 1/2 tablespoon tomato puree
Cheese sauce
- 300ml boiling water
- 6 cheese triangles
- garlic puree (a little)
- onion salt
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
Preparation
Part cook lasagne sheets in boiling water.
Pan fry roast tenderstrips until cooked.
Mix jerk style sauce, water, and tomato puree to make the sauce.
Prepare cheese sauce by combining boiling water, cheese triangles, garlic puree, onion salt, and cornflour mixture.
Layer ingredients in a loaf tin, finishing with white sauce.
Bake for 10 minutes at 200°C.
Add grated mozzarella and bake for another 6 minutes.
Serve with salad.
Notes
If fresh pasta is preferred, use it instead of part-cooked lasagne sheets for simplicity.
