Easy Vegetarian Carbonara Lasagne

Ingredients

  • Plant-based lardons
  • Crispy bacon pieces
  • Roast ready bites
  • Rice lasagne sheets
  • 300ml boiling water
  • 6 extra light cheese triangles
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion salt
  • Fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 40g grated mozzarella

Preparation

  1. Fry the plant-based bacon substitutes until cooked.

  2. Prepare the sauce by mixing 300ml boiling water, 6 cheese triangles, garlic powder, onion salt, black pepper, and cornflour mixed with a little cold water.

  3. Mix a little of the sauce with the fried bacon mixture.

  4. Cook the rice lasagne sheets in boiling water until softened.

  5. Layer the bacon mixture and sauce with the lasagne sheets in a small loaf tin.

  6. Bake for 10 minutes.

  7. Top with 40g grated mozzarella and bake until the cheese is melted.

  8. Serve with a side salad.
