Vegetarian Cheeseburger Lasagne Bake
Ingredients
- 2 Beyond Meat burgers
- 2 rice lasagne sheets
- Tomato sauce
- A couple of light cheese slices
- Grated mozzarella
- Sesame seeds
Cheese sauce
- 250ml boiling water
- 6 Laughing Cow extra light cheese triangles
- Garlic powder
- Onion salt
- Smokey bacon seasoning
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
Preparation
Cut the Beyond Meat burgers in halves and shape into 4 rectangular patties.
Brown the patties on both sides and set aside.
Soften the rice lasagne sheets in a pan of boiling water.
In a saucepan, combine 250ml boiling water and 6 cheese triangles; stir until melted and starting to thicken.
Add garlic powder, onion salt, and smokey bacon seasoning.
Mix 1 tablespoon cornflour with a little cold water and add to the cheese mixture; stir until bubbling.
In the bottom of a small loaf tin, add tomato sauce.
Layer with a couple of light cheese slices, 2 burger patties, lasagne sheets, and cheese sauce, finishing with cheese sauce.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Top with grated mozzarella and bake for another 8 minutes.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Notes
This recipe makes 2 servings and can be served with salad on the side for a complete meal.
