Sautéed Carrots with Walnuts and Honey
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 10 medium carrots
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Preparation
Toast the walnuts in a skillet until fragrant, then set aside
Peel the carrots and cut them into 1/2 cm slices
In a skillet, heat the oil, butter, and water
Add the carrots, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and cumin, cover the skillet and cook on medium heat for a few minutes until the carrots are tender and absorb the water
Add honey, lemon juice, and sprinkle with parsley
Place the carrots in a serving dish and sprinkle with the walnuts
