Savory Baguette French Toast with Creamy Scrambled Eggs
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- cinnamon
- baguette slices
- olive oil
- 2 eggs
- chives
- salt
- pepper
- fresh berries
- maple syrup
Preparation
Combine 1 egg, 1/4 cup almond milk, 1 tsp vanilla, and cinnamon.
Dip baguette slices in the mixture.
Cook in olive oil over medium-high heat.
Meanwhile, whisk together 2 eggs.
Heat oil in a pan and add the egg mixture once hot.
Turn heat off and stir until desired consistency.
Top with chives, salt, and pepper.
Serve with fresh berries and maple syrup, optionally using fresh maple syrup.
